Free Crochet T.Rex Pattern
Ever thought of making a cute mini T. rex in a cuddly form? Then look no further! Here is a quick pattern that is pretty easy and beginner friendly, that can be worked up in less than an hour, making use of bobble stitches for its snout! It is made in one continuous round including the head, snout, body, limbs and tail!
Free Longneck Dinosaur Pattern
First learn how to crochet a simple tube, try experimenting with adding a sphere to it and then some curves in the tube - which is what happens when you attempt to crochet this longneck dinosaur! This longneck dinosaur works continuously from head to body to tail without any sewing involved!
Free Crochet Stegosaurus Pattern
Here is another easy guy to work up as well. If you love stegosauruses, then this pattern is perfect for you. This guy works up quickly even with the spikes done in a continuous round. There are some colour changes and detailing for the body and spikes, which are fun to experiment with as well.
Free Triceratops Crochet Pattern
This little fat guy works up pretty fast, with the horns and the frills all done in one continuous round. Follow along the pattern and the video tutorial below for a seamless experience! Change up the colours for a different appearance and add in some stripes on the back for some detailing!
Realistic T.Rex Crochet Pattern
Now to move onto the more advanced shaping and contouring of the dinosaurs, starting with the T.rex. His face and body and worked together continuously in a round and work up quickly. This T.rex is named Terry the T.rex and has tiny little arms with muscular legs that are sewed onto the sides of the main body. This pattern is only available as part of the dino bundle! Which will be available soon!
Realistic Apatosaurus Crochet Pattern
Adrian the Apatosaurus is another special dinosaur, with shaping that is quite different from the T. rex. The head is made continuously with the neck then the body and ends with the tail. In fact, before you sew on the feet, the head-body-tail piece looks like an earthworm who has an enlarged abdomen from eating too much! Available as part of the full dino bundle.
Realistic Stegosaurus Crochet Pattern
Stella the Stegosaurus has her body start with first an upslope and then a downslope before ending off with her tail. Her spinal plates are sewed on separately. The legs were also new, different from the apatosaurus and from the T. rex as well. I used some of her parts for ideas when I moved onto the triceratops next.
Realistic Triceratops Crochet Pattern
Teresa the triceratops has her mouth, horns and frills done continuously without any external sewing attachment. There are a lot of special stitches and colour changes to make them look different from the rest of the face and the frills are stella! Also available only as part of the dinosaur bundle.
If you found this round-up useful and would like others to see it too, do pin either or both of the images below on Pinterest so that more folks can see it! I really appreciate you for doing that!
