Sweet Mystery Shape Along Part 1

Welcome to the Sweet Mystery Shape Along

Welcome to the Sweet Mystery Shape Along (SAL) - a playful new twist on the traditional crochet along ✨!

This free crochet event is released in parts, so you can follow along week by week and slowly uncover a brand-new mystery character.

But this time, we’re approaching things a little differently.

    Part 1 – Let’s Get Started!

Instead of focusing on every single stitch line-by-line, the videos will mainly highlight the important shaping moments — the tiny decisions that slowly transform simple crochet pieces into personality-filled characters.

The written pattern (below!) will still guide you fully, but the Shape Along videos are designed to help you see:

    • how shapes are incorporated into the character

    • how shaping decisions help with contouring

    • and how simple individual parts slowly come alive stitch by stitch

👉 Don’t forget to share your progress with the hashtag #SweetMysterySAL so we can enjoy everyone’s makes as the story unfolds!
