Rhinestones are like tiny little shiny jewels… which I particularly liked to use for my Princess series! They are relatively cheap and easy to get and creates a shiny effect which crocheting a small magic ring won’t create…

Directly crocheting onto Amigurumi can sometimes create a detailing effect that can turn out interesting. The best part about this is that there is no need for sewing!

Amigurumi involves the art of using yarn to crochet or knit stuffed toys. This form of art originated from Japan, and the translation of ‘amu’ means ‘to knit’ while nuigurumi means ‘stuffed toy’.

This is my simple way of making a quick pointed tip and it is very similar to how you make a simple cone. I often use it to make beaks for my birds and in this case for Owl.

Once in while, I do like remaking some characters I have made before and usually I will make some changes to the newer version. In this case, I did so for Eeyore.

So excited about writing out this free pattern! It’s a tiny little Piglet. Most of my amigurumi are mini (not micro) and can fit into the palm of your hand. In this case, if you make Piglet, he can even be made into earrings!

Guys, I’m so excited! This was something in the works since last year but I want to reveal…. my first Crochet Magazine feature! It’s in ‘Crochet Now’! The theme was geared towards ‘Wild side’… and I really just love all the other featured patterns in this issue as well!
