A Make-A-Long (MAL) is a fun event where individual full crochet pieces are released.

Each project is a smaller, quick crochet pattern you can complete in under an hour, and by the end of the MAL, you’ll have a complete Halloween set ready to gift or play with!

Step 3: Get Equipment ready

Materials and Tools

  • Crochet Hook Size 3.5mm (please feel free to use other sizes but keep to corresponding appropriate yarn)

  • Sport Yarn 4 ply yarn - (4 ply, cotton or acrylic)

    • Start with: White, Orange, Purple — you can also use glow-in-the-dark yarn for extra spooky fun!

    • Other colours in the set (used later for specific patterns): Brown, Light Brown, Yellow

  • Stuffing - leftover yarn or polyester fiberfill

  • Darning needle

  • Stitch Markers

  • Scissors

  • 30 sc stitches over 10cm

  • You can go at your own pace! Each pattern is a standalone piece. A new video is released each week if you want to follow along, but you can also save the patterns and make them later when it fits your schedule.
